Guturai.
Nas roşu ce curge non-stop, strănut, tuse. O stare pe care nimeni nu o vrea.
Mie însă Guturai îmi aminteşte de Gutui! Şi mie îmi plac foarte mult gutuile ...aşa că ar trebui să-mi placă şi guturaiul?!
Da, dacă în Guturai o vedem de fapt pe fetiţa Gutuie, îmbujorată de la febră, puţin obosită şi cu cea mai drăguţă căciuliţă gutuie care a fost vreodată închipuită!
Cold is another play on words.
A name for the common cold is "guturai" in Romanian. The word for quince is "gutuie" (..you see where this is going?) and quinces are a good thing: they have the loveliest scent, they're tasty and they're yellow like the Sun on a beautiful day! And they're healthy too!
So following the natural logic, if I like quinces..I should like getting a cold also?!
Well, yes, if when thinking of cold (guturai) we're actually thinking of Quince Girl, with rosy cheeks from the fever, with her eyes closed because she feels a bit tired and the cutest quince hat ever imagined!
