Fortunately, an impromptu short holiday (oh, noes!) made me postpone the direct implementation of the sketches.
But here they are! Today!
Thing is, I've thought of putting together a literary gathering.
I believe it is very important to read as many books as possible, leave the grinding and thought process afterwards. The important thing is to read, in the end the good books will make themselves noticed - in the way you think, in what you create, in your life, and the bad books will be discarded.
The name of my book reading club is Green Leaf. I chose it because there's something very organic and deep about a green leaf.
Also, in Romanian, it is a motif in many a folk songs, and that, to me, makes it something entertaining an easy-going, just like a holiday. Just like reading should be!
So if I were to give advice this Holiday Season, my advice to people would be: buy books! Give books! Read a book in your spare time.
Some books might even have illustrations, and I don't mind that at all ;)
M-am hotărât să încropesc un club literar, un club al cititorilor de cărți (și de ce nu, poate și al scriitorilor amatori?)
M-am gândit eu așa, că e frumos să citim. Să citim muuult și bine. Și poate să citim și rău. Până la urmă, cele rele să se spele, cele bune să se-adune, nu? Dar ca asta să se întâmple trebuie să citim.
Așa că am strâns niște personaje și le-am pus să citească. I-am adunat pe toți subt o frunză, o Frunză Verde.
Frunza Verde vântu'-o bate,
Hai să mai citim o carte!
Ei, eu sunt poet cu pensula, nu cu versul!
Așa că, de Sărbători, eu vă sfătuiesc să cumpărați cărți. Să dăruiți cărți. Să citiți cărți.
La urma-urmei unele dintre ele mai au și ilustrații, nu? Și asta este întotdeauna de bine!
